[SOLVED] Use new PayPal v1.6 with PS 1.2.5 ?

I believe so, payment modules usually work between versions.

The best way to be sure is to try it, and make a test transaction.

What's the difference between the old paypal module and the new v1.6?

I am confused. Now I saw that I already have Paypal v.1.6 in my PS1.2.5, but on the download page the PayPal module v.1.6 is dated to 18/05/2010. So naturally I thought it was a new version, but I have got v1.6 ever since upgrading to 1.2.5 in February.

The Prestashop modules on the download page and the one inside prestashop v1.3 folder are different.

It seems PrestaShop isn't updating the version numbers of the standard modules when they change them, which makes it hard to tell whether a module has changed or not without actually comparing the files.

I tried it, and new Paypal v1.6 DOES NOT work with 1.2.5

Need to upgrade to new 1.3.1 in order to use paypal 1.6
