Repeating text for every product in category

This is the example of the problem:

• I'm selling shoes,
• I want for every shoe manufacturer to display the table that links internal shoe size with shoe number,
• Every manufacturer is in separate category.

Vekia posted this code to be added in product.tpl:

if (Tools::getValue('id_product')==5){
    $this->l('write something for product 5');
}

 

I've tried it, and it does not work. I thought I would get from this code to the one I want by changing id_product to id_category, but even the original code does not work.

 

Any idea? Thanks!

Never mind, I've solved it myself. If someone needs this too, ask for a solution.

Hello , Why you did not create an attribute...?

I don't see how attributes would solve the problem. I've edited product.tpl instead and chose for default category id to display some text, for next default category id different text, etc.
