Import Language not working correctly

Hey Guys, i am having a problem. I am using the new 1.3 version, and for some unknown reason my website products languages have gone crazy. Some parts are english and some Estonian. I dont understand how it went wrong.

But anyways i have csv of my old files so i have backups but when i try to import the products titles and i choose which language i want to update......it updates everything but it will overwrite both languages titles.


So if i import a csv with English titles and choce english as the language i want to update, its also then overwrite the estonian side with english

And vice versa, if i import estonian language and choose estonian, it updates the english side to


Please help

I've never encountered this issue before. Are you sure the languages have different IDs?

yes both have separate id

1 english
4 estonian

used to be a 2 and 3 but deleted them

Could if be any modules i have recently installed?

im not sure what to do, i was thinking of just exporting the languages from the database (phpadmin) then importing again, but that failed and would not work so im really stuck now

I don't think those modules would affect importing languages, but you can try temporarily disabling them by clicking the tick next to them on the Modules tab. Are you sure that the language packs have the right iso codes?

Hey, how would i check if they have right iso?

When i import them i go tools, import. Then i uploaded my latest csv with all the correct names in both english and estonian (separate csv for each language).

Depending on which csv it is i select the language from the drop down menu


Then i import.

But when i do it will change both my languages to the same translation


At the moment on my site, the Estonian is fine, but the english side is a mixture of english titles and estonian. How this has happened i have no idea.

I am really stuck on what to do

I see. I thought you were importing a language pack, not a CSV file. Unfortunately, PrestaShop doesn't support importing multiple languages in a CSV file. I found this topic that might help.

I am a little confused because you have an option to choose which language? before you import the csv


I have also done it before when i needed to update the estonian side which was fine.

I believe the language option is to choose the encoding of the CSV file, not which language the CSV will be imported into.

Hi I am searching the forum for help on importing csv files I can export them edit them but they will just not import I have tried heitSQL compressing + not compressed changed the fields emptied the ps_product_lang table and left it full but I keep getting the same message Invalid field count in CSV input on line 1. can anyone give some more help
