Amazon Payments in different languages

Hi folks,

 

I put the amazon payments module on my shop project: Amazon Advanced Payment APIs by patworx multimedia GmbH, current version (2.0.47).

 

The button and the dialog popup for the amazon payments app appear in German language only, no matter which of the other 4 languages I choose in the shop frontend.

 

Does anyone have experience with this module and does it usually switch languages nicely?

 

According to the amazon documentation website it should adapt to the frontends language out-of-the-box, but it doesn't do so in my project and I couldn't figure out why. I thought I ask the community before asking the developer or scrapping this payment method.

Feedback from developer: Switching languages is supported in the "login and pay" mode, but not in the "pay" mode in this version of the module, for compatibility reasons. The version of their module for prestashop 1.7.0.0 supports language switching also for the "pay" mode.
