jtlswanson
?????? I've read a few other postings about this and nothing is helping this situation...I've tried CHMOD to 777, reuploading the original files from the zip file of 1.3.0.10. I am runnning another shop that works just fine with the image regeneration and I uploaded everything from that shop to the problem shop and it's still giving me the same error. Anyone else having this issue or a solution or ideas? Thanks in advance!JTLS

Please help! ps I am trying to update from 1.3.2.3 to 1.4.
starxox
Ok I solved this problem, certain files were missing like en-default-category.jpg en-default-large.jpg en-default-medium.jpg en-default-small.jpg So now I can regenerate thumbnails, but images are still not showing

nestawr
Did anyone figure this out? I am having the same issue when I tried this on a localhost. I'm trying to upgrade my site and this is the only issue I'm having.

satkauskas
I had same issue. Many story tellers and helpers said - lets give 777 permision to IMG folder. I say - no way. Dont do it. Its insecure. So, what to do? I went to admin - localization - languages. Then select your default language you use for store, then re-add "no picture image". And Flag also. If that is not working - please recheck "group/owner" for the IMG folder. I solved that. And I am happy to share it. Thanks.
