razaro
Hi Can you give bit more info, like what PrestaShop version you use, theme and also maybe give a link to your site ? Sounds like some issues with cookies, but it is strange it signs you out when adding new friendly URL ? Is that only place you get signed out ? Do you get some error maybe in server logs ? A. Mj
Hello. I just upgraded my prestashop version from 1.6.1.8 to 1.6.1.9. I have a theme installed with a name of Zero Supermarket. My website was working pretty much well when we thought of increaing the speed of our page loading time with a module "express cache". After that module was installed my website was working great and loading time of website just increased by storm. Then we faced a problem with my Account tab on my front end of website. Where customers sign in or signup. I had made an account for testing purposes. Eventually i could log in perfectly well but i couldnt sign out. This was the problem which already persisted with my version 1.6.1.8. I thought there might be a problem with the SEO and URL which is triggering and not helping me log out from my customer account. Further, after upgrading prestashop version to 1.6.1.9. , i faced another problem. That was that i couldnt create a new SEO and URL. Now its getting problematic. I am only aware of these two problems. There might be others or there might be none other then these 2 problems. Anyhow, i am at a standstill and my website is at a pause. Please sdvice how to fix them. web site URL is: http://www.redtagbazaar.com Edited November 24, 2016 by A. Mj (see edit history)
razaro
I created test account and did not have issues with signing out using link on left side menu. Do try private/incognito new browser window and test. Did notice not standard cookie named "logged" with value 1 but not sure from module it come, or does it have some influence. Try also to disable express cache and delete its and also general store cache and test again in private/incognito window. About performance, it did not load too fast to me but could be you are focused on your country only. Still think it should be faster. Finally do not think this issue is stopper, your shop should work ok even if you get some confirmation.
A. Mj
Okay let me try private/ incognito browser. I can disable express cache but i dont think i want to delete it. I have bought quite expensively. Is there any way to fix this iasue with this module in tact?
razaro
I suggested you just test if issue is appearing if module is disabled. If it appears that module is causing issues do contact developer. Also if I remember in express checkout you can exclude pages you do not want to cache and some are already excluded. And to repeat, I could not confirm issue as it worked good for me, I got signed out.
