Add or update a category

Hello. My task is to add several fields to categories table and to do them editable via Back Office - Catalog - Category. There is a method submitAddproduct() in AdminProducts.php file. As I understand, this method is responsible for adding and editing products. But I can't find a similar one for adding and/or editing categories in AdminCategories.php ! Tell me where the categories adding/editing handler is, please !
