Store not converting

Our website is attracting visitors and we have around 60 abandoned carts ranging from around 20 quid through to the hundreds.

 

Something is stopping people purchasing and I am hoping you can point us in the direction of why that may be.

 

Some of the abandoned carts have even gone through customer registration though not many.

 

If possible could you take a look at the site and maybe point us toward what is stopping customers purchasing?

It is hard for outsiders to determine how competitive your shop is. 

 

Some people will just drop something in their cart to see your transport costs.

 

You could give your shop a more professional look by disabling empty categories and taking care that every category has an image.

ok thanks for that, we have added pictures to all categories and are currently going through SEO. Sill no purchases.

I've just gone through a quick purchase test on your site.  I would strongly recommend the one page check out module!  your check out procedure along with the looooong loading time is probably your problem.  Like the site very clean

Homepage of your store is very slow, also i suggest to have a Facebook widget in visible page, just to make sure that people will see that you're an active merchant etc.
