major attributes bug

I found a serious bug in how prestashop handles attributes.

Example:

If I add the attributes X ( values 1,2,3 ) and Y ( values a,b,c ) to my product "Shoes" and then a customer orders my shoes having the attribute X with value 2 and Y with c and places the order, I see in the BO the order of the product faving all the attributes and all the values, not the values picked by the customer. How can I know what values picked the customer ?

Please give a hand.

Most likely you did not add them correctly, for each combination, you are suppose to add only 1 item from each attribute group.

The best thing is to use the "Attribute Combination Generator" which will do it for you, it is found in the combination tab of the product editor.
