Programatically add/create multistore shop?

I have multiple domain names (more than three)

• mydomain.com
• somedomain.com
• thisdomain.net

All the domains are loading the same WordPress located in the "/var/www/html/". I have and installed Prestashop 1.7 in "/var/www/html/store/" using "mydomain.com". When I go to "somedomain.com/store/" or "thisdomain.net/store/" it redirects to "mydomain.com/store/".

 

I have never setup a multistore and when I just tried doing so, I noticed that it does it one domain at a time. The two questions I have are:

 

1. What does Prestashop's engine do when a new domain is added? Does it only create MySQL tables for that domain? If yes, how much memory does each new domain adds to MySQL? Does it add any files to the harddrive? If yes, how many? Which ones? And how much memory it takes for each added domain?
2. Is there a programmatic way add multiple (many) domains to show the same store?

If you haven't created a multi-store before, definitely you need search a little help in the web about this, there are a lot of tutorials/videos in the web, otherwise you could have troubles for lifetime.

Is there a way to display the same store contents under different domains? For WordPress, I just had to change to get the URL and change few links in the header.

Yes, you can share all content in all your shops, but if you try to create the multi-store once you have orders placed, then any order can't be shared in the stores.

I repeat, you need search help for this.

This depends totally in your needs, for your previous messages, I think you need multi-store, try to search in google, I have seen also some tutorials in YouTube, just search a little bit.

So what is the point in posting in Prestashop's own help forum in regards to this question, if all questions can be found on "google"?

Your question is something like, can someone help to make a module?

You need take a look at PrestaShop documentation, and also there is a rule in most of forums to search first your question, if you can find nothing similar, then create a new thread with that issue, in your case, you can find a lot of threads with the same question.
