rocky
You need to copy the config/settings.inc.php file from your old v1.0.0.8 installation into the config folder wherever you have copied PrestaShop v1.3.0.10. If that file is missing, you cannot do an upgrade.
dado
it's exist ... i'd never forget something like that!right now i'm trying to upgrade to 1.2.5.0 and then i'll try to upgrade to the 1.3.0.0thank you :-)
rocky
I've never encountered any issue where the settings.inc.php file could not be found when it exists. Try checking the permissions on the file to make sure PrestaShop to read it.
Pinkloveshy
Hi I'm on 1.2.4 and now want to upgrade to 1.3.0. I assume this is possible and I don't have to move to 1.2.5 first?I'd be grateful in this could be confirmed by a person with good prestashop knowledgeMany thanksGillian
rocky
Yes, it is possible to upgrade from any publicly released version of PrestaShop to the newest version of PrestaShop.

MahmutGulerce
Dado i get it it occurs because of the php file path destination differences at php 5.3.x at x64 servers. (also seems warning at 1.4 backoffice) I havent been losing time to solve. But this becomes at 3. step. So you are allready dont need any other step. You can complete upgrading manualy by using sql files at prestashop/install/sql/upgrade directory. If you use files which named greater than your version (file names > 1.2.5) you must import files respectively. But be sure use this files respectively.and the last change that you have to make, open your prestashop/config/settings.inc.php and edit prestashop version defined as _PS_VERSION_ to current.greetings
