energlite
I have a problem with Preston - he doesn't work and is in my way - Any Ideas Guys? (see attached Screen Print) Stalls when press start. Does nothing when press later. Does nothing when press X to close. FOUND A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM - Something to Note with any backend or front end problems. I have found that permissions need to be changed to 755 especially "index.php" files as nothing happens until they are changed from 644 or 666 to 755. In this particular case I had changed the files to enable the main and admin "index.php" file permissions to 755 which allowed the site to come out of a 500 error and be seen. However in Modules/Welcome there are also "index.php" files that I had to set to 755 to allow the welcome to your site Wizard with Preston to Operate. Whilst all folders are by default 755, it appears that files are having problems unless they too are set to 755 Edited November 14, 2016 by energlite (see edit history)
