Issues with PrestaShop 1.7

Love Prestashop and would like to get v1.7 running One Million percent

 

These are the issues that I have found so far:

1.) Categories - not displaying on Home screen (title bar)

Adding new categories to the home level is not working correctly, clicking on the "+" adds the category however the category does not display at the top of the home page ("display" option selected)

2. New Products module

 a. Conflicting menus at the top of the page

 b. New items are positioned vertically down the screen and not horizontal, is this a theme or module issue?

3. Zoomed Image not closing easily

When going into a product, clicking on the "+" to zoom into the picture. Pushing Esc or clicking elsewhere doesn't work properly. Have to click outside the picture at the top left to close the image.

4. Tax rules not easy to use and setup, had to fiddle around a lot to get it to work properly.

5. The initial start-up (landing page) of the store is still slow. I don't have many pictures and the ones I have are low resolution, I have enable cashing etc. any other tips?

6. Payment Gateway's, this is still a large problem. Please supply options or can anyone help with developing local payment gateways? Maybe you could assist with a template that I can discuss with local banks to get involved - they should have vested interest in helping...

Categories and the main menu are two different sets. To get something into the main menu you have to add it in the main menu module configuraton. There you can add categories, single products, CMS pages and even external links.

When I try to install or upgrade modules I get error about the Temp-directory. Look at attachment enclosed, any idea what the path is for the temp-directory?
