[email protected]
Hi trying to install a fresh version of 1.7.0.0 all installs ok but when i got to upgrade modules in notifications they just spin forever. When i try refresh or access anything else on the domain i get a 500 server error (even and fully working 1.6.1.9 won't load) A few hours later it all comes back to life without me having done anything. I talked to my host 1and1 to see if they could find out the issue and they fobbed me off saying it's a prestashop error and i need to change permission etc etc. I've tried switching on dev mode to trying get an error message but it just stays the same (oops 500 error) Obviously this seems like a host error timing out or something has anyone else experienced this and can point me to whats causing it. I have managed fine on a few other domains on 1and1 and they upgrade modules fine, it just seems to be this one account on 1and1 that "times out" and locks it to the 500 error. Any help would be appreciated! I just wanted to start the transfer process over and test modules etc
spinelle
Hi, I have an issue with module upgrade in 1.7.0.3, too. When I try to upgrade a module I always have an error message saying that the upgrade is not possible. Does someone knows how to make it works? Thanks

bellini13
is this a module you purchased on the addons store?
spinelle
I notice the issue on one of the module I've made. It is sold on the addons store, so I'm trying to make it work on the 1.7.
