Site Loading issue. Seems to Catch on loading. (UPDATED)

I have been working on my site for a while. It is now full source of income while in college and I've even had sales! The problem is the site seems to hang up when loading each page. I have gotten customer feedback about this and I can't seem to resolve this issue. From any computer I try, my site seems to wait at least 2 seconds before downloading each page. The loading bar does nothing. Then suddenly the site will load. The problem is that the lag happens for every single page. It makes completing a purchase quite difficult.

I don't know what it is. Hosting? Configuration? Something I edited? Please let me know if you have similar issues when looking at my site.

I can't see anything wrong with your site. How many products do you have? Perhaps the SQL queries are running slow. See this topic for more information on how to check for slow queries. If that isn't the problem, then it is probably a host issue.

Do you not have a 2 second (many times it is longer) delay on each link click? I am still getting it at home and work. Thank you for the suggestion I will look at that when I get to my computer.

I am looking into upgrading to a Virtual Dedicated Server from Godaddy. It's a lot more money but if it allows more people to purchase (because it wont be so darn slow) and then make it worth the money.

I have tried gzip and other things suggested elsewhere but it doesn't seem that Godaddy supports any of that on my current hosting.

Yes, I'm getting a blank page for about 10 seconds before your page appears. That's why I suggest that you check your slow queries log.
