SkyHiRider Posted November 2, 2016 Share Posted November 2, 2016 My prestashop 1.4 was hacked due to a hole in a file upload plugin. I've upgraded the plugin but I can't get rid of the infection. I want to purge my prestashop directory, install 1.6 and migrate my old database and other vital files (product images). I decided to migrate after my repeated attempts at removing the infection proved fruitless. Can I import an older database? Which directories contain product images ? Are there any other directories that I should migrate as well? What course of action would you recommend? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Naldinho Posted November 16, 2016 Share Posted November 16, 2016 I'm hardly an expert but since no one else has responded in two weeks this is what I would do 1) Export the database 2) Start over using a clean install of the exact same version of PrestaShop 3) Import Database 4) Upgrade like normal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
