Porpoise
I've done a search of the forum but can't find any posts on this subject so I'm hoping someone has already done this and can potentially help. We are in the process of moving to new premises (where we are hoping that sales are going to increase dramatically due to the better location) and need to integrate a cash till and barcode scanner with the stock control on Prestashop. Can someone please point us in the right direction? Thanks, Steve
cricket-hockey
Hi Steve, We have been using this POS system for the last year: https://www.pos-tpv.com/en/ The best thing about this module over others I have looked at is that you can also scan items into stock and generate your own barcode labels if you wish with the price and product code on etc. The other one I looked at is this one: http://rockpos.com/ The interface is better but it doesn't have as many features and you can't return items either which is something we sometimes need to do. Hope that helps. Jamie
swiss gary
Hi Steve I am also looking. Very hard to find somethig in english. I tried Rock POS. Great support etc. But too slow. Like 10 seconds to find a product. Maybe if you dont have too many products that would work good. Gary
nicoX
There is nothing wrong with http://rockpos.com/ I'm currently testing it (30-days trial), and they have tons of good features, good support and steady development. I wanted to have a look at https://www.pos-tpv.com/en/ but it seems that they are no longer operating. Here is a complete list of standalone, subscription based and integrational POS that I have come across but not tested, except RockPOS: https://webkul.com/blog/prestashop-point-of-sale-system/ https://www.brightpearl.com/ https://erply.com/ http://www.openbravo.com/ https://www.innova-commerce.com/en/ https://equatepos.com/ https://www.alabazweb.com/en/ https://easycheckout.nl/en/ http://rockpos.com/ A tool that will help if you directly wish to scan your barcodes (EAN, UPC) when adding your EAN, UPC to your inventory. You won't need to buy a wireless scanner, but use your mobile phone, the scanned barcode will appear in your Excel sheet, where you later just can copy and paste it into your PrestaShop backend for current product: https://barcodetopc.com/ There are many alternatives some good others bad, Google them, or look for them in Android/Mac store. A helpful tool for your store management: https://www.prestashopmanager.com/ Edited September 26, 2018 by nicoX (see edit history)

swiss gary
It took a while, but I am working with RockPOS and am happy. It has all the functions I need, and since their update about 1 year ago, it is fast. And they really go the extra mile to help in support. I think quite the exception for Presta Shop module developers.
