jetway
Hi, I do not believe that this is true. An unregistered user will see the cheapest shipping price when an item is added to the cart. Settings can be done in: Shipping -> Preferences -> Default Carrier Best Price This works absolutely fine for me and the best price is always applied. Are you talking international orders? That's another case. Cheers, Edited October 27, 2016 by jetway (see edit history)
razaro
jetway, you are quite right. I was thinging on international orders, because by default PrestShop set carrier by default country and it shows wrong shipping fee for guests. If store have just one country it should not be hard to set carriers, way you described.

Cheers, yes, problem still however is that carrier choices are not available until 1) login and 2) checkout.....so let's say you have free 3-5 day shipping but also offer faster paid shipping, this is unknown to visitor/customer.....this is also important scenario....offering carrier choices logged/non-logged is significant feature.
