symbol (€) gibberish

Hi,

The symbol of € and £ get gibberish when change the browser encoding to Korean or others and i find that "http://addons.prestashop.com/" it's also the same,please check the attachment.

 

How to set "€"to "€" or "€"?

It seems more like a browser configuration problem if it's affecting the PrestaShop Addons website too.

To use € is more browser safe than € (in Germany we know this problem because of ä, ö, ü and ß that are older as the €-sign).

and if try to change it to "€",Backoffice echo "!the field sign is invalid"

What exact code did you "try"? I tried this (€) in my prestashop 1.6.1.4 and it works.

Many thanks for your responding,I'm using 1.4.2.5,and test with 1.6.1.4 both  "€" and "€"but when i change the encoding to "Korean" it still get "??" like the attachment,maybe something wrong.

Maybe so it's not possible, better use EUR, it's usual too (the biggest shop in Germany, amazon, uses EUR).
