I don't know for Prestashop but following your post title I can tell for Magento. Basicaly you can check if website is run on Magento if there is /js/varien/js.js in html source. You take alexa 1 million and check results. You will see that there are some of Magento websites with probably even more than 100k products. Or just check the link biggest websites run on Magento.
