Unrecognised IP Address at checkout: Failed Orders [0.0.0.0]

Hi, 

 

I am an admin at an online prestashop. I have a question regarding an issue which occurs every now and then. I have spoken to length about this with the guy who created the site for us as well as searching googles and forums for answers to no avail. 

 

The issue is, that every now and then [1 in approx 20/30], we have a customer ring up saying that the payment is not going through for the order. The message which is being shown to them is along the lines of "unrecognised IP address". This is at the checkout stage of the order when they are about to pay. 

 

A common occurrence for all of these orders is that each customer has an IP address of 0.0.0.0

 

I have attached an image of the last 3 occasions this has taken place with details of their IP addresses.

 

We have ruled out them being from one part of the country (they are scattered all over the UK and localisation settings are all fine). 

 

This is most probably eating up in to sales so it is a topic of high priority.
