header tag showing up on my landing page

Good day everyone,

I need a little advice please.

I have the HTML box module, which serves to be my main info on the left side of the landing page.

When I add the code <h1> to it, for some reason it shows up on the landing page as text.

 

I have attached an image of the change in the backend and the result in the front end.

I will really appreciate your assistance.

I can't see anything wrong. That's exactly how I'd expect it to display. The <h1> tag is meant to display in large text.

I just thought it looked "ugly" sitting there on top my landing page text.

Is there a way that I can make it smaller, or hide it?

I am not trying to bypass SEO protocols. Just working on aesthetics here.

Sure, you can use CSS to adjust the size or hide it altogether. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with that module, so I don't know what classes it is using.

 

You can use the development tools in your web browser to select that text and find out the relevant CSS styles.
