The problem is that I changed the name of the parent category from Home to Online Shop and google is keeping the crawled urls from Home which doesn't exist anymore and is giving me Duplicate titles tags: I also corrected the third line before 5 days and it is not refreshing and it is still counting it as a problem. shokinro Posted October 21, 2016 Share Posted October 21, 2016 hi is my siggestion 1. use 301 redirection by rewrite rules to redirect the URL to correct page instead of throwing 404 error 2. at google search console (webmaster tool), add your old URL to "Removed URLs" to tell google to delete those old URLs it may take some time for google to reflect the changes.
