email notification not working anymore

Since a couple of days my email notification is not working anymore...

 

It doesnt send mails:

 

- on new orders

- changing status

- message from backoffice to customer (error language file is missing) ??? don't know why it's gone since a couple of days?

- contact from the website is also giving error, but nothing with language...

 

i did:

- reinstal mail alerts

- test mail configuration, and changed from phpmail to smtp and did a email test= OK i receive the test...

But i dont receive any other mails (so isnt the client when they order... )

Hello,

 

Check PrestaShop logs screen for any mail errors.

Back office -> Advanced Parameters -> Logs -> Sort by date.

Check you are not missing the lang.php file in /themes/<your-theme-folder>/mails/your-lang-iso-code
 

If you are missing the lang.php file you can copy from another iso-code directory or try importing translations for your language in back office -> localization -> import pack.

you are my life saver for the day!

 

I went to my ftp and downloaded /mails from the default bootstrap and uploaded it to my newly created theme (with presta theme maker)
