Blank page after clicking "check update" within a module

Hello All,

 

I upgrade my prestashop version from 1.5 to 1.6.1.7, post which i am not able to manually check update for any module, native or otherwise. it throws a blank page, screenshot attached.

 

Any help appreciated

If you have blank page at first you supposed to turn on debig mode: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information-blank-page-500-internal-server-error/

If you have some errors they will show up.
