chuckstar_za
I've configured all my store email (shop email, customer support, webmaster, etc..) to send to '[email protected]', which happens to be the domain of my shop 'somedomain.co.uk'Any mail sent via the contact page or order confirmation doesn't reach '[email protected]' but does when I set it to '[email protected], [email protected]' I can send and receive mail via [email protected], so it is set up correctly, but as soon as I try to have the store send mail there it just dissapears. Same goes for any address I've set up using the same domain as the shop.Looking at the error log on my server I see this: [Tue May 25 09:17:16 2010] [error] [client 109.224.129.85] File does not exist: /home/stretch1/public_html/500.shtml, referer: http://www.somedomain.co.uk/contact-form.php [Tue May 25 09:17:16 2010] [error] [client 109.224.129.85] SoftException in Application.cpp:601: Directory "/home/stretch1/public_html/modules/blockcart" is writeable by group, referer: http://www.somedomain.co.uk/contact-form.php [Tue May 25 09:17:10 2010] [error] [client 109.224.129.85] File does not exist: /home/stretch1/public_html/500.shtml, referer: http://www.somedomain.co.uk/contact-form.php Any ideas?EDIT:Turns out there was a problem with my mail server trying to send messages to itself. chuckstar_za
I think I may have found the problem.I sent a no subject mail (i.e - the subject was (no subject)) to that account and it didn't come through. It looks like there is a spam filter somewhere that is blocking brackets, both square and rounded. As the Prestashop form uses [shopnamehere] in it's subject line, that would account for the blocking of mail. Though it's not showing up in any spam filter, so must be deep rooted somewhere...Going to contact my hosting.
