rocky
Have you tried editing config/defines.inc.php and changing the value of _PS_DEV_MODE_ from false to true to see if there's an error message?

rocky
Oh, that won't work, since the cookie key will have changed, so your passwords will no longer match. You'll need to edit config/settings.inc.php and change the _COOKIE_KEY_, _COOKIE_IV_, _RIJNDAEL_KEY_ and _RIJNDAEL_IV_. If you can't do that, you'll need to use an MD5 generator to get the hash key for your new cookie key and replace your old password in the ps_employee table. rocky
Go here and paste your new _COOKIE_KEY_ value from config/defines.inc.php followed by your password. Click the "Generate" button to get your hash key. You can then log in to your cPanel and access phpMyAdmin to open the ps_employee table and change your password to the new hash key.
