Need SEO advice for Prestashop

Hello everyone,
 

We're running a Prestashop using the builtin SEO tools, which work fine.
My employer wants me to optimize our webshop for SEO without investing in ad-campaigns such as Google Adword.

 

I told my employer that I think the best way to do this is to allow me some more time to focus on content and make sure to update prices on a regular basis.

 

Since some tags like the alt tags and focus keyword are missing, I think we could gain visibility in that area.

So I was thinking to convince my employer to buy a dedicated SEO module which does eveything Prestashop already does, and more! But I would also like to be in control of our meta, so to avoid SEO disaster I don't want automatic generated meta.

 

Can anyone please give me honest advice on what SEO module to buy. I prefer quality over quantity.

SEO is not just about the meta tags beeing right. Google likes genuine content and text rich web pages. If you pages are limited to few words, no matter how hard you try you will not fly high without paid ads.

Of course, I've done a great deal of research before optimizing our prestashop for SEO.
I always provide genuine content and text rich product pages as much as I can.

 

My employer pressures me to produce at least 5 to 10 orders a day.

Last week, we had only 10 orders for a whole week.

 

Most of the prices are lower than our competitors because we are a large supplier.
We're also working with social media, I'm not quite sure what to do next.
