Prestashop very VERY ! slow, on order confirmation

Hi,

 

After looking on Google, on this forum and desactivated all Prestashop and non prestashop modules one by one I still can not find anissue to my big problem.

 

When I make anorder the waiting time between the moment when the user click on "I confirm my order" (page : order recap) and the redirection to the page "order confirmation" is very VERY long

 

I made an upgrade to PS 1.6 it was working but there were a lot more other bugs so I stayed with 1.5.4.1

SOLVED :

The shop has no stock management, and it was desactivated in the back office.

 

 I tested multiple files with var-dump and found that in file:

./classes/order/OrderDetail.php

commenting this line

//$this->checkProductStock($product, $id_order_state);

solved my problem and order confirmation are 'fast'

One question, we have the stock management active, 

what problems might give the removal of this line?
