Cannot Upload Virtual Products After Auto-Update

Everytime I try to upload virtual products after the last auto update, the upload gets to about 11% and goes to the dreaded "the connection has been reset" page. I am using the Google Chrome browser on Windows 10.

Corrections already tried include:

increasing the allowed file size in Admin Preferences

Flushing the DNS Resolver Cache

Running the Windows Networking Troubleshooter which cannot find the problem.

Haven't tried a different browser as Chrome is the only one the admin password for the site is saved in. Will get that from Settings and try in a few minutes.

Ok! Tried a different browser; problem persists. If no one has any ideas here, I will try talking to my web hosting company next.

Have you enabled the debug mode to see if there's any error displayed?

Not yet, as didn't know that feature existed. Thanks for the idea; will do that shortly, if you tell me how.  Should I post any errors as a reply to this thread?

Ok...

In the log folder there are only two files. one is an exception log with the filename 20160824_exception.log containing this single line: "*ERROR*     2016/08/24 - 11:00:05: Transaction password wrong at line 314 in file modules/worldpay/classes/worldpaycc.php".  The second file in that folder is named "index.php".

In the cPanel error log,  there are no entries at all. Is there anywhere else I can look?

In my opinion, this is server related issue.

Take a look here and here

I am not doing CSV import. I'm doing direct upload of MP3 files of sizes under 300MB.

Until the last Prestashop auto-update, everything worked fine, including upload of virtual product delivery files. The most recent update wiped my product photos which had to be re-uploaded. After successfully accomplishing this, I started adding new products to my catalog; and when I got to the product upload itself, the error I have now began occurring. I've already sent a support ticket to my web host; but as this is Friday, I don't expect an answer till Monday, and when I get that answer I fully expect it to be this...

"This is a Prestashop problem; you need to talk to the Prestashop development team".

If that happens, what do I do next?

I forgot to ask you one thing. Did you checked the permissions? Files need to have 644 and 755 for folders

Is there any way to talk to the Prestashop Development team?

Here's what my host sent after I let them into my dashboard to try and solve the issue.

"Hello Jocelyn,

Thank you for your reply.

It seems to be an issue with Prestashop. Could you please contact Pretashop and inform then regarding your issue, so that they can investigate further on your issue.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us. We are available 24x7."

If I can't get in touch with the dev team, or if they cannot provide a solution to this, I may need to move this site to another platform which supports Worldpay, as I cannot reasonably promote and make money with a broken web store which will only ever contain a maximum of 4 products.
