Order eMail not sent to customers

Hello, I  have the SMTP configured and alertmail module installed.

 

When I press the test email button, it works and I receive the email.

 

But everytime custome posts an order, he can't receive any email.

 

I'm using Prestashop 1.6.1.6

 

Help appreciated.

Look if the e-mails are present.

 

Localisation>translate>

Select e-mail template, theme, languaces and go

I had the same problem. For me some files was missing in /mails/lang_directory

There is a bug in a fresh installlation of Prestashop concerning the languaces.

 

Mostly the file lang.php isn`t in the <theme>mails/nl directory.

 

The file is in the directory.  <domain>/mails/en or <domain>/mails/<languace iso code>

 

Copy it to:

 

<domain>/<theme>/mails/<languace iso code, en, nl etc> 

 

Of course the mail notificatie module must be installed and working.

you may also need to check file/folder permissions to see if it is set correctly.

 

files: 644

folder: 755

 

and you will need to check all folders

 

/mails/xx

 

/themes/YourTheme/mails/xx

 

where xx is the language iso code for all language you are using in your store.
