eugenm
Hi, sorry for the trouble I came up here with, it is it is so hard to find the way to set the permissions. I am stuck in step# 3 System compatibility I run my own Nginx Ubuntu 14.04 server, trying to install Prestashop 1.6.1.6 , so unzipped the script copy and paste in to the sub-directory folder,, demo1 folder, Just I hope, it is ok to do this way.. I have some other webpages running very well under Nginx but this Prestashop script is something beyond me. I have set root directory permissions to 777, just to see if it works but no avail. All these failed, so far; Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/cache/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/img/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/mails/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/modules/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/themes/default-bootstrap/lang/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/themes/default-bootstrap/pdf/lang/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/themes/default-bootstrap/cache/ Recursive write permissions for vnt user on ~/translations/ The script is installed in sub-directory on Nginx, var/www/mydomain.com/web/demo1 It would seem like all is easy but so hard to get it running.. Please help, any ideas ? Best Regards Eugenm Edited September 30, 2016 by eugenm (see edit history)
