Prestashop with existing database

I have a client with an existing database, which he uses to control his store.

 

Can I use this database?, there are any way to introduce the products automatically.

You need a trigger in php to extract dates what you want from former database and import in new one.

The customer has a database that must be synchronized with the web Prestashop automatically.

So, any change in the customer database is updated in the database Prestashop.
