Prestashop1.6 trouble shooting with wamp

Hi all

 

Ok so i am in the process of setting up  stores using PS and I am using local host with wamp to perfect the sites before going live. the problems i have encountered are as follows.

 

!. when selecting multi store and setting a store group first before selecting a new shop (as the products i will be selling are completely different niches), when changing the store images in store 2 it changes the images in the default store (main store) but it will allow me to change the logo without it effecting the default store logo.

 

I have set the parameters so that it doesn't use any attributes from the default store aswell but it still does it! and also the name remains the same as the default store when viewing in internet explorer too if that has any baring on the matter.

2. if refuses to set subcategory images , i have followed the instructions and the thumbs are the correct pixel ratio but still nothing, it just says no image available.

 

if anyone can shed some light on these problems it would help immensely.
