Display Subcategories in module 'Products Carousel'

Dear Prestashop Users,

 

I am using prestashop 1.6, and Products Carousel module from themes.zone.

 

I want to display subcategory list where im using display category.

 

Ive tried to copy from category.tpl some code but it didnt work.

 

I can get id of category by use {$cat_id} so it can be some listing in foreach with specified category id.

 

Is there any possible way to do this? What should i add in .php file?
