Menu Thumbnails not loading..

Hi all

 

New to prestaahop. I am trying to load an image into the thumbnail for each of my categories to stock the 'no image available' box.. Although when i add the image (as attached) it doesn't change the menu.. am i missing something daft?

The category thumbnail is used by the "Top horizontal menu" module, not in the "Subcategories" section of category pages. You need to upload the main image of the category and a thumbnail will be automatically generated.

 

Are you trying to create different category headers and thumbnails? In that case, it is better to enable the "Image mapping" feature by going to the Administration > Menus tab and creating a new menu called "Image Mapping" with class "AdminScenes" and parent "Catalog". After clicking "Save", you'll get a new Catalog > Image Mapping tab you can use to add header images and link them to categories. The main category image will then be used only for the category thumbnails.
