spaceman
Hello all, I've had problems with high CPU usage and have been going round in circles trying to fix it. I've decided to try a clean install to see if that solves the problem, but if it doesn't then I'll move it to another server. The URL will be the same and it will be the same version of Prestashop (1.6.1.6), so would it be a simple case of doing the following: Backup database by doing a database dump (via Plesk) Backup all .img folders/files (via FTP) Remove everything then reinstall Import database dump into new database Copy across all .img folders/files Or am I being too simplistic in my thought process and missing lots of other things? Thanks Scott
spaceman
Sorted as I thought, but with the additon of opening the SQL file of the copied database in Notepad and changing all the old table prefixes to the new one, before importing into new database via phpmyadmin. Job done.
