Add a link on product page to open cms content in fancy box

Hello,

 

I'm trying to figure out how to add a link on product page which opens only content from a cms page in a fancybox, so the customer can read the required information but doesn't really leave the product page.

 

The problem is that law in a country where we are attempting to sell makes mandatory to make available several informations to the consumer before, or at least, at the same time an order is placed.

 

I've been trying with this:

Despite it works well on chrome, when you try on ms-edge or en firefox it's broken, shows the content on a new page and not on a fancybox.

Here would be my solution to you!  Use this free module and modify to suit your needs.  https://catalogo-onlinersi.net/en/add-ons-prestashop-modules/406-sizes-chart-prestashop-module.html

This will add a size chart to your product page and when clicked open up new window for information. I guess if you need different information each time this may not be the right approach.

 

Inside of sizechart.tpl  change  "Click to open sizes chart"  To  "Click to open Product Info"   Inside of sizechart2.tpl is where your can put your new productinfo and an image. This may take a bit to modify but I'm sure you can make it nice.  

 

Also inside the module folder change the Icon to a suitable one for you by replacing icon.png with your new icon image.
