Search Box not working

When I type in search box ajax search and instant search finds the products.

But if I hit enter or click search icon and do a normal search it says "entera keyword" and displays nothing.

 

SearchController.php is not broken, I just downloaded from github again. You can try: www.cctvdepo.com - search test

Go to the Preferences > Search tab in the Back Office and check how many products are indexed. If they aren't all indexed, click the "Add missing products to the index" link.

If it was problem about indexing then Instant search must not show any result.  But it is working expected. Problem is on search controller. Even it doesn't show searched keyword, not only products. So check is there any module in your store which overrides SearrchController.php? If yes then uninstall that module and check once. Let's see what happen.
