modprestashop
Time Out means it is not about code. You have problem with your Internet speed or your server itself. And please explain your problem, is it first installation or you were have access before but not now anything that community should know to solve your problem. Martin Uker K
Hi all, We have the same problem on one of our website also, since last wednesday (September 14 for the logs). The access time for api.addons.prestashop.com have skyrocketed since then. The problem affects both "Modules tab" and the admin "global search". All seems to point out to modules checking for updates. My staging and production environment are having different result, so we are thinking this is a single module occurence problem. Both my production and staging are at the version 1.6.0.6, on identical servers. You can see the iamge of the request here : Martin
Martin Uker K
A little up here. That problem still haven't found any good answer or help yet. The call to prestashop addons are really the problem. Is there a way to suspend the check update feature, JUST TO BE SURE that this is creating the problem. Anyone? Martin Uker K
Hi all, Strangely the problem seems to have fixed itself over the night. I guess it was something on addons.prestashop.com ends. We changed nothing in modules. The time are back to normal. I have various guess on what could be happening : 1 module had problem getting its update check (Best guess) A call between api.prestashop and an other Webstie was hard to get. A Tusken Raider was cutting the link between our Website and addons (These guys think all TCP calls are sacred and belongs to them) Well if the author could verify and tell us if its Website is okay.
