Products in Cart are missing from Order, but Order shows price of products from the Cart

Hi there,

 

We're on PS 1.6.1.4 and we have two shops.

 

On our second shop, every once in a while, we get an order whose total price does not represent the total of the products that are shown on the order page. Upon investigation, the total from the order page matches the total from the associated cart. Weird. 

 

We just had an order this morning, where there are 5 products in the Cart, but only 4 on the Order, but the price on the Order is the sum of the products from the Cart and indeed that is the price the client was charged and paid.

 

Obviously a problem because we almost sent out the 4 products until one dispatcher noticed the high price. We sent out the 5 products, but were not able to speak to the client. He paid for 5, but maybe only wanted 4?

 

So I dug into the DB and found that in the order_detail table only contained the 4 products. 

 

Any idea what happened? How did the order total equal the 5 products from the cart, but the order_detail table, which is what is used to build the products table on the Order page, only have 4 products?

Hey Cipo, I cannot recall 100% what we did, but I believe that we just re-created the product.
