rocky
Go to the Preferences > Images tab in the Back Office, edit the image you want to change (for example, home_default in the default PrestaShop theme), increase the width and height and then click "Save", then select that image type at the bottom of the page and then click the "Regenerate thumbnails" button. Your images will now be bigger, unless your theme has CSS that is limiting the size of the images, in which case you'll need to modify your theme's CSS to increase the size. rocky
It's because the <img> tags have a width of 125. You should increase that to 195 for the images to fill the full width of the blocks. Hopefully, you can find the widths in product-list.tpl inside your theme's directory.
