Issues when setting discounts and using special prices

Hi

We recently launched a Prestashop store where we use Prestashops "Specific Prices" so customers in our own country get a special price and all other countries get the regular price.

We want to set a Catalog Price Rule, so all products get a 20% discount. The discount works fine, but all products that have a specific price, do not get the discount. Is there any way to override the specific price, so that all items on the store get a discount ?

We use Geo Targeting Pro, might it have something to do with it ?

Maybe someone has had the same problem ?

Hi, GTP module would not interfere with any cart rules.

Please give us step by step detail of how we can recreate this on our test machines.

Sure.

We are not considering cart rules, only price rules, as they show the discount on each item.

Step by  step:

Setup webshop with many items, selling to many countries.

Set specific price for many of those items for a single country(we wanted some items to be cheaper in our home country).

Try to set a Catalog Price Rule with a percentage price reduction, for all items, in the store.

The items that have a specific price will not get the discount, as a Catalog Price Rule does not overrule a specific price.

What we need is: say, we sell an item a for $5 in all countries and a specific price of $4 in, say, Denmark. We would like to set a 20% discount on all items, so that in all countries the items sell for $4 but in Denmark we want the price to become $3.2.

How would we set a specific price for one country, and still be able to add catalog price rules so that we can have, for example, a 20% off entire shop campaign.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
