Kanjirulo
Hello,I have a question, to see if anyone knows what may be happening:I have a 1.6.1.5 installation with 4 activated languages (Spanish, English, French i Dutch) and backoffice in Spanish. Well, when a client must enter his address, the list of countries appears always in Spanish whatever the language that you are viewing the web.For example, a Briton who sees the web in English, when insert his address, in the Contry combo will see "Reino Unido" instead of "United Kingdom".I can not find the way to fix it, I just read somewhere that list appears in the language of the backoffice, but in my case with 4 languages would not be the most appropriate solution.Does anyone know how to fix?Thank you very much! rocky
I can't reproduce this on my PrestaShop v1.6.1.7 test site. I changed the French translation of "Australia" to "Australia (FR)" and when I switched to French on my website, the country dropdown contained "Australia (FR)" when I went to register. kateclouds
Hi, I have exactly the same problem on my prestashop. Country list is always in Italian, even if I have two language versions. Is there a way to translate all countries with a single file, or it is necessary to edit individually each country name in the backoffice (from Nations section)? Thank you! rocky
You'll need to edit each country name individually. The only other way is to use phpMyAdmin to manually edit the names in the ps_country_lang table of your database.
