Easy and Fast way to Update inventory

I am trying to update inventory for mass amount of products. I enabled the warehouse/stock management but it doesn't have any way to upload inventory in bulk. I have also used the product export file to just update the quantity by only importing the following columns:

 

ID         Name                                 Reference     Quantity

1290    Holstein Faux Pony Tray     173028          10

1387    Gold Wave Vessel - Large   9166-032       10

 

But I find that when I import my file the quantity is updated but the "Default Category" changes to something random and price goes to zero.

 

Is there any way I can import or change quantity for 8 thousand+ items in bulk?
