PrabuSS
Hi everyone Currently i am using PayPal Europe module to integrate PayPal payment gateway. My local country is Hong kong. When i entered Paypal payment page it shows details in Chinese instead of English. I would like to change english as a default for all locations. How can i achieve this to override payapl module code? PS version : 1.6.1.7 Edited September 8, 2016 by Prabukaran (see edit history)
Teapot Creative
Hi In the B.O, under Localisations tab, have you set your stores default language to English? See Screen Shot. Hope this helps.. NickC
PrabuSS
Hi I've already set English as a website language Under Localisation tab in BO. I think its required to change locale code in Paypal module code. Edited September 8, 2016 by Prabukaran (see edit history)
Teapot Creative
Hi Yes, looking at the settings you do indeed have to set country local (see screen shot), and I would assume thats what sets the language. El Patron
I think it's nothing to do with PS or PayPal module. Paypal will localize internally to the visitors IP address, i.e. if visitor is in Spain, and checkout via PayPal, they are severed Spanish. There might be a field in paypal api that passes visitor language, I did not check, but PayPal definitely will localize on the visitor's perceived location. I know this to be true because I travel outside of US, and am served PayPal based on my IP location, until I login, then it localizes on my PayPal account country. Hope this helps.
