limit internal recursion Error

I have my webshop running at example.com with search friendly url's activated.
I want to add a new store to my website, but I get several errors,

 

I set up the 2nd store at example.com/store2 but I get the message:
 

"Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace"

This is a basic stack overflow, and I could find solutions on how to fix it in the htaccess file for cakePHP and for Wordpress, but I cannot figure out how to do this for prestashop.

It is an Apache issue.

It means there is something wrong with your shop or server configuration.
