janvl
is there a general rule for the permissions like 644 for files and 755 for directories? I would like to put this right with a few lines in bash. What caches should be emptied, smarty/cache and smarty/compile are there other ones to be emptied? Any hint on things I should be aware of are more then welcome. Regards, Jan Edited September 6, 2016 by janvl (see edit history)
rocky
It sounds like you're already doing the right thing with permissions and caches. The only other cache I'm aware of is the CCC cache in themes/<your_theme>/cache.
