Help! Fatal error msg when clicking on modules

I need some help... 

 

Was in backoffice and clicked on the Modules menu and I get this error msg on a blank window.

can any1 plz help me out with this ?

Appreciate all help I can get!!

it looks like that issue is related to recently added module.

you added some modules before this problem started to appear?

Hi !

 

Yes I added 1 module... but I cant remove it since I cant load modules page.. 

Added 1 module that I didn't know what it was to check it out.. cant remember its name now,

Can you help me somehow ?

1. you need to connect to your host FTP service
2. go to /modules/ directory
3. sort files and directories by "recently changed"
4. remove directory of the module you added to the shop

 

this should solve your problem

Hi,

 

I had the same error today and renamed the module as vekia said to do.

 

In my modules there are some that look odd compared to the other modules.

 

When i click on install it will crash.

 

Please see attached picture.

it was the ps_banner that screwed with me...

but the error is not with the module for me the question is why syntax error, unexpected 'use' (T_USE) is not accepted by prestashop.
