stavrosvorkas
Hey everyone, I have recently noticed something strange occuring on my site. When I use pricing variations and add an impact the impact price displayed is different to the one I set.. Here is an example. Product ABC has 3 sizes (s,m,l) I set the price to 10 and add variations (s,m,l) I set the variations accordingly : S= +0 M=+10 L=+20. Theoretically my prices should be S=10 M=20 L=30 What I get in the front end: S=10 M=21.98 L=27.98 What On earth Am I doing wrong.. (I disabled ALL TAX laws etc, but I get the exact same numbers) (check the picture of the pricing and variation menus )
stavrosvorkas
Additional info.. it seems to just display incorrect price only in catalogue/product page when variation is selected (2nd/3rd option) but are displayed correctly in basket.. stavrosvorkas
I have concluded that combinations in prestashop is BROKEN. I found a workaround but it is completely stupid that it works like this. 1.Firstly create all your combinations but do not give them any prices. 2.Go to Prices and scroll down to specific prices select the combination you want, 3.uncheck "leave base price" 4. place your price in Product price (tax excl.) This is completely stupid and by no means should it be done like this. I have NO idea how or why this works but combinations doesn't Let me know if this worked for you.
